Fantastic success for Eastover Primary School PTA !

Well, what a great day for the Eastover Primary School Fete  on Saturday,  marking the re-launch of the school’s PTA – now known as the Friendly Faces of Eastover Primary School!

Seconds after the official opening by Eastover Town Councillor Moira Brown, parents, carers, children and local residents literally poured in. ‘The turn out has been absolutely fantastic,’ said Head teacher Nicola Darby. ‘The PTA have put in such a lot of work into getting this event organised and off the ground. It looks like their concerted efforts have paid off – and we have been so lucky with the weather. It’s an absolutely beautiful day – one of the best we have had this year!’

On offer were go karts, a petting zoo, rides, face painting, craft stall, a majorette display, tag rugby and martial  arts- and, of course, the all time favourite – the bouncy castle.

Dave and Moira will be doing everything we can to support the PTA and other Eastover Primary School events. The more community engagement there is taking place within Eastover the better it is for all of us!
